D-MYST receive World Health Organisation award

Congratulations D-MYST!!

Last night D-MYST received an award from the World Health Organisation (WHO) in recognition of their work on tobacco related issues. The award is one of only six given by WHO each year covering the whole of Europe.

D-MYST members received their award at a ceremony and showcase event in Liverpool held in their honour, with special guest Carley Stenson who plays Steph Cunningham in Hollyoaks.

The Hollyoaks actress congratulated D-MYST on their award and all the fantastic work they have done. She also commented that Hollyoaks is a smokefree soap as it doesn’t include smoking in any of its storylines or have cast smoking on set. She finished by wishing D-MYST well in their campaigns and hoped their work would encourage more soaps, TV programmes and films to go smokefree.

Well done D-MYST!!
